Marilynn Mendell - Resume

Resumes, like anything else that gets attached to a persona and becomes public domain, should be, in my opinion, targeted for specific purposes, specific proposals, and specific requests.

The individual who understands the necessity to respond to the client's specific needs in a cover letter will also see the advantages to supporting those materials by illuminating talents and experience.

Developing a resume or crafting a short bio for a speaking engagement takes planning, thought, and time. Attention to details are extremely important. Try and make sure that fonts are readable and large enough for someone to read easily. Show it to several people before sending it out. Proper grammar is a must. Tell a story about yourself in an active and positive voice.
